There are several small communities in
the
vicinity of Pacolet with distinctive names. These are not incorporated
or
official towns. They have been known by their present names for many
years.
For the most part, there are not exact boundaries of these communities.
You
know when you get there but are not exactly sure when you enter or
leave
it. There is not much written about the history of most of these
communities
that I could find. I have attempted to show the location of these
communities
on the accompanying maps. A short description is given for each
community.
